The Farmer’s Market in Quepos

Tulemar is fortunate to be located near several supermarkets and quick marts should you need any last-minute groceries during your stay, but if you really want an authentic Costa Rican shopping experience, we suggest visiting the Quepos farmer’s market, or “feria” as it is called here!

The Quepos feria is located in downtown Quepos near the marina (about 5 minutes from Tulemar), and is available every Friday & Saturday, weather permitting.

Inside the feria you will find handmade clothes, jewelry, shoes, seasonal fruits & vegetables, spices, plants, and sometimes you will even see dogs available for adoption through a local organization called PAWS.

The feria is an excellent place to stroll around and shop to help support the local community. We highly suggest adding this to your list of activities if you’re interested in experiencing local culture and meeting several hard working locals.
