Tulemar is a wonderful place to experience the splendors of Costa Rica. Villa Mot Mot is the place to stay if you want to see monkeys and sloths on your deck. We saw squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys and sloths on the deck and in the trees surrounding the deck. Great view from the deck, too. Wonderful kitchen and a grill out on the deck so we could cook outside and enjoy the spacious deck and enjoy the view. The restaurant is very good, the staff is wonderful, they are very friendly and very accommodating, the grounds are very beautiful and the beach was a fun spot for the grandkids to try their hand at boogie boards. Highly recommend Tulemar.
We stayed in villa mot mot in Sept. 2016, the beginning of the rainy season. It was absolutely lovely and not so hot. Wonderful storms that did not last long created the most beautiful sunsets. Villa mot mot had everything we needed! The property is absolutely gorgeous and the staff amazingly friendly, polite, considerate and professional. Our special thanks to Danielle, the bartender, and Davide, the beach attendant. They seemed to appear out of nowhere the minute we needed them without us asking!!! They were the most friendly people we met in Costa Rica. You cannot go wrong with tulemar! Janet

We loved our stay at Villa Mot Mot! The decor is absolutely perfect and reflects the Pura Vida lifestyle. The wraparound deck affords beautiful jungle and ocean views that are unobstructed by any neighboring properties. You can view all of the wildlife in Manuel Antonio Park from the deck while having coffee or meals outside. We were visited daily by the Titi and Capuchin monkeys. Walking distance to the beach or local shops and restaurants. The secluded beach offers beachside food, drinks, free kayaks and boogie boards. We took advantage of all of the amenities. (Loved the kayak ride, especially) The staff is wonderful! We highly recommend Villa Mot Mot and Tulemar!
My family stayed at Tulemar in the Mot Mot villa last July. I booked Villa Mot Mot and we could not have been happier with the room. The villa comes with a person to help if you have any issues or questions...
The villa was beautiful and spacious (2 adults and 2 kids) and had such a wonderful view of the water and wildlife every day. We had so many animals using our deck as a bridge from one place to another: Monkeys, a sloth, coati, many lizards. My kids loved to just hang out on the deck and watch every morning when the monkeys came through and played on the rooftops of the rooms all around.
The private beach was the best! You can walk there in 5 minutes, which we did every day because there was always some new mammal, bird or insect to spot along the way. There is also a shuttle that will bring you up and down to the beach if you do not want to walk...it is a little steep in areas. The beach has boogie boards and kayaks to use for free and snacks/drinks available.
The restaurant has a great breakfast...we all loved the gallo pinto, eggs and fresh fruit. Alan served us every morning and he was such a great guy...teaching my kids some spanish and helping them get their food.
