Tulemar is the premier resort in Manuel Antonio. It is the only gated and secure, 33-acre resort with over 55 privately owned bungalows, casas, and villas. There is nothing like it in the area.

Besides the location in the heart of Manuel Antonio, we have access to a secluded beach, an on-site restaurant, and we host the research facility for The Sloth Institute of Costa Rica. There are walking paths leading through the jungle areas complete with plaques describing trees and vegetation.

You will see as much wildlife in Tulemar as you do at the National Park, yet we are within walking distance to the best restaurants and fun bars. The National Park is just minutes down the street to the south and Quepos and the Marina Pez Vela just minutes to our north. We are managed by a very strong Homeowners Association.

Tulemar has been “sold out” for over 6 years now. Sales are done through a real estate agency, directly between the Buyer and Seller, just like everywhere. Our agency handles most of the sales in Tulemar. That is not a requirement, that is the choice of the Sellers. I’m Tulemar Dave and our office is in Tulemar. I’m also one of the very few that live in Tulemar year-round, so these Sellers are my neighbors and friends. Mauricio, my business partner, and I have been doing this for about 20 years. We’ve watched while almost every home was being built and we’ve contributed to the design, construction, and management of many. We know the history of them all.

We usually have only one or two properties listed for resale at any time in Tulemar and those tend to sell quickly. About half of the sales are to existing owners within Tulemar, looking for a larger home or another investment property.
