ENTERING COSTA RICA (From Any Country)

No COVID testing, nor any vaccination or insurance requirements are needed to enter Costa Rica.  The requirement for wearing a mask in enclosed public spaces has ended, however private institutions are still legally allowed to request that you wear a mask in enclosed spaces, so it would be wise to have one available just in case.

RETURNING TO (OR THROUGH) THE UNITED STATES

For US citizens or Legal Residents, no COVID testing nor any vaccination requirements are needed to enter the United States. All travelers entering the United States must complete a contact tracing form at or prior to check in and provided by your airline.

RETURNING TO ANY COUNTRY OTHER THAN THE UNITED STATES

Travelers to destinations other than the United States may also have testing requirements, and travelers are encouraged to review those requirements with their airline.
