What is Tulemar?

Tulemar is a one-of-a-kind 33 acre, gated and secure, residential resort located right in the heart of Manuel Antonio. We have a collection of 40+ privately owned vacation homes, ranging from our classic Bungalows to our luxurious Private Villas.
Our properties are surrounded by jungle and the wildlife is abundant. You’ll see three types of monkeys, two types of sloths, scarlet macaws, two types of toucans, motmots, kiskadees, other exotic birds, iguanas, agoutis, and more right from your villa and throughout the resort.
At the Tulemar Beach you’ll find warm, tropical waters with a sandy beach and lots of shady trees plus lounge chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, boogie boards, and towels.

We are not a traditional 5★ resort, an all-inclusive, or a franchised hotel (with loud music playing around the pool areas and lobby). Each of our accommodations in Tulemar are privately owned vacation homes. Our front desk and reception area is located within Tulemar. We provide reservations for most of the properties exclusively and directly. Our reservations team is also located right here in Manuel Antonio. They are very familiar with each of our properties and are happy to help you find the best options for your stay.
The Tulemar Gardens Resort is managed by the Homeowner’s Association made up of the individual homeowners. Since every property in Tulemar is privately owned, we have several property management companies that manage the bungalows, casas, and villas within. Tulemar is centrally located in the desirable town of Manuel Antonio. We are within walking distance to many wonderful restaurants, cafes, and shops. Another great dining option that many guests choose to experience is a private chef who can prepare some or all of your meals. Dine in or delivery service is also available from several local restaurants. Your concierge is always a phone call or WhatsApp message away and will make everything easy for you.
