There’s a lot that a pandemic can teach you, and as we continue on with this “new normal”, we continue to learn and grow to adapt the best we can.

But, it’s no secret that a lot has changed. Some for the good, and some for the not-so-good.

While we have learned patience, the importance of health, and how to appreciate the little things, we also have found ourselves not getting to see friends & family as often, feeling anxious and scared, and sensing a lack of warmth in human interactions on the occasions we do get out of the house.

It seems that what once was an enjoyable experience – going out to eat, chatting with a stranger at the grocery store, or shopping for a new pair of shoes – now oftentimes seems cold, impersonal, and downright frustrating.

We can’t say we blame the hospitality and retail industries…Most of these employees are overworked, short-staffed, and tired of dealing with disgruntled guests all while just trying to make ends meet!

It can feel like the issue is cyclical, and we – as well as our guests – keep asking “how can we get things back to normal?”.

“What a beautiful villa in a fantastic setting! If you are looking for privacy along with wildlife then look no further than Villa Kiskadee at Tulemar. The Villa was very appointed with beautiful panoramic views from every room. Everyday we were greeted by Sloths, monkeys, exotic birds, iguanas and more! Honestly the property offered better wildlife experience compared to visiting the actual Manuel Antonio park. “Wow what an awesome resort!!! We were blown away by everything the resort had to offer. The grounds were gorgeous, the wildlife jaw dropping, and the location is amazing. The resort is nestled not only in the jungle, but is seamlessly part of it! We saw wildlife (monkeys, sloths, and tropical birds) from our balcony every day. You will see them everywhere in the resort. We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabana suite, that was perfect, and had a panoramic view of the ocean from the expansive balcony. The beach was a short hike down, or a really short golf cart ride, and was spectacular. It’s a private cove, that feels like it’s all your own. Bar and food service are available, and the guys on the beach work tirelessly all day to make your day at the beach, “a day at the beach”. The food and drinks were also fantastic. The Tule Cafe was the only restaurant open at the time, but it has enough choices that it really didn’t matter. We tried some other restaurants in the area, and honestly we liked the resort Cafe the best! The ceviche is amazing, and the fresh fish was always tasty.

With all the amazing features Tulemar has to offer, the crown jewel is by far its workers and service. We have NEVER had that type of service before at a resort! Our concierge Fabio was amazing. He set everything up for us, even our Covid tests. Fabio took all the stress out of our stay, and made sure our vacation was perfect. He provided rides to the beach, restaurants, did some grocery shopping, set up excursions, and just made our stay overwhelmingly enjoyable. The maid service made sure our room was clean and tidy every day. The service too and at the beach was awesome. And our service at the restaurants was on point. A special shout out to Christopher, Giovany and David, but everyone was amazing and friendly, taking the time to chat with you, give suggestions, and point out wildlife.
